Who is Unit 1 for?
It is designed for teachers and students working on Cambridge IGCSE Global Perspectives (0457), with a particular focus on the Team Project.
How long does Unit 1 take?
Unit 1 is ten connected 45-minute lessons. Some classes may choose to extend practical tasks, discussion or filming across additional time.
Should I teach the lessons in order?
Yes. The sequence deliberately moves from individual strengths to team formation, team systems, communication, conflict management and team launch.
What do I download for each lesson?
Start with the lesson plan. It identifies the presentation, student worksheets and teacher resources needed, with preparation and timings in one place.
Do I need Canva?
No, but Canva is the recommended presentation route because it preserves the intended animations and transitions. Each GlobeSkills presentation includes concise presenter notes. A standard Canva account is free, and eligible verified primary and secondary teachers can apply for Canva Education at no charge. PowerPoint and PDF remain available for offline use.
